How to do it

  1. 1Hold a light band at shoulder height with straight arms, hands a little wider than your shoulders.
  2. 2Keep your ribs down and your arms long, with a soft bend at the elbows.
  3. 3Pull the band apart until your hands are level with your shoulders and the band touches your chest.
  4. 4Pause with the shoulder blades squeezed together.
  5. 5Let the band close slowly, resisting it the whole way back.
