How to do it

  1. 1Stand on the middle of a band with your feet hip-width apart and loop the top of it behind your neck and across your upper back, holding it in place with your hands.
  2. 2Unlock your knees slightly and brace your stomach with your back flat.
  3. 3Push your hips back and tip your torso forward until it is nearly level with the floor or you feel a strong stretch in your hamstrings.
  4. 4Keep your spine neutral and your knees soft but still; all the movement comes from the hips.
  5. 5Squeeze your glutes and drive your hips forward to stand back up tall.
