How to do it

  1. 1Stand with your feet hip-width apart, holding a kettlebell by the handle with both hands in front of your thighs.
  2. 2Soften your knees slightly, brace your stomach and draw your shoulders back.
  3. 3Push your hips back and slide the kettlebell down close to your legs, keeping your back flat.
  4. 4Go down until your hamstrings are well stretched, usually somewhere around mid-shin, without letting your back round.
  5. 5Drive your hips forward to stand up and finish by squeezing your glutes, not by leaning back.
