How to do it

  1. 1Loop a band over a pull-up bar or other high anchor and face it, holding the band in both hands.
  2. 2Stand tall with your elbows bent and tucked against your sides, hands at about chest height.
  3. 3Push your hands down by straightening your elbows until your arms are fully extended beside your thighs.
  4. 4Keep your elbows pinned in place and don't lean over the band to help the press.
  5. 5Let your hands rise slowly back to chest height, keeping tension on the band.
