How to do it
- 1Unrack a barbell onto your upper back as for a back squat and stand side-on to a sturdy box or bench.
- 2Place the near foot flat on the box and brace your stomach with your chest up.
- 3Drive through the foot on the box to step up, keeping the bar level and the trailing foot passive.
- 4Stand tall at the top with the hip and knee of the working leg fully straight.
- 5Lower the outside foot to the floor slowly by bending the working leg, repeat on that side, then switch.
