How to do it

  1. 1Anchor the middle of a band high in front of you, such as on a rack upright, and step back until it has tension.
  2. 2Cross the ends so your left hand holds the right side of the band and your right hand the left side, palms up and arms almost straight in front of you.
  3. 3Keep your upper arms still and curl both hands toward your shoulders, letting your forearms cross in front of your face.
  4. 4Squeeze your biceps briefly at the top without letting your elbows drift up.
  5. 5Straighten your arms slowly back to the start, keeping tension in the band.
