How to do it

  1. 1Stand with your feet wider than shoulder-width, toes turned out, and a kettlebell on the floor centred between your feet.
  2. 2Push your hips back and bend your knees, pressing them out over your toes, and grip the handle with both hands.
  3. 3Flatten your back, pull your shoulders down and brace.
  4. 4Drive through your whole foot to stand up, keeping the kettlebell close and your knees tracking out.
  5. 5Finish tall with your glutes squeezed, then sit back down the same way to set the kettlebell on the floor.
