How to do it

  1. 1Adjust the seat so your knees are bent to about 90 degrees with your feet on the platform, and sit with your back and hips flat against the pad.
  2. 2Place your feet hip- to shoulder-width apart with the whole foot on the platform, and hold the side handles.
  3. 3Push the platform away until your legs are almost straight, keeping a slight bend in the knees at the end.
  4. 4Bend your knees to bring the platform back under control, keeping your knees over your toes and your lower back on the pad.
  5. 5Stop before your hips start to curl off the seat, then press again through your heels and mid-foot.
