How to do it
- 1Stand in orthodox stance: left foot forward, right foot back, knees soft, hands up at chin, elbows in.
- 2Settle a bit into the right hip with the right heel light and core braced.
- 3Drive from the floor—push through the ball of the right foot and rotate the hips and torso to the left.
- 4As you rotate, bring the right fist up close to your body in a vertical arc, palm facing you, elbow ~90°, exhaling on the punch.
- 5Stop at chin-to-nose height without overreaching; keep the left hand guarding your face.
- 6Retract the right hand along the same path, reset your hips, and repeat smoothly for reps or time.
