How to do it

  1. 1Stand tall with your feet about hip-width apart and your knees soft.
  2. 2Raise your arms and lace your fingers together on top of or just behind your head, elbows pointing out to the sides.
  3. 3Draw your elbows and hands back while gently pulling your shoulder blades together and lifting your chest.
  4. 4Keep your ribs down so the stretch comes from your chest and the fronts of your shoulders, not from arching your lower back.
  5. 5Hold and breathe calmly, then lower your arms slowly to finish.
