How to do it

  1. 1Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and your knees very slightly bent.
  2. 2Lace your fingers together in front of you, turn your palms away and raise your arms overhead so your palms face the ceiling.
  3. 3Reach your hands up as high as you can, keeping your arms beside your ears and your heels on the floor.
  4. 4Keep your ribs down and your stomach lightly braced so you lengthen through your sides and shoulders instead of leaning back.
  5. 5Hold and breathe slowly, then unlace your fingers and lower your arms out to the sides.
