How to do it

  1. 1Kneel on a mat with your knees about hip-width apart and the tops of your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Lace your fingers behind your head and sit your hips back towards your heels.
  3. 3Fold forward and bring your forehead and elbows down to the floor in front of you, elbows about shoulder-width apart.
  4. 4Let your chest sink towards the floor and reach your elbows forward until you feel a stretch along the sides of your back and the backs of your upper arms.
  5. 5Hold and breathe slowly into your back, then walk your elbows in and roll up to kneeling to finish.
