How to do it

  1. 1Anchor a band low to the ground, loop the other end around your ankles and lie face down with your feet towards the anchor.
  2. 2Move far enough away that the band is already slightly stretched with your legs straight.
  3. 3Bend your knees and pull your heels towards your glutes, keeping your hips and thighs pressed into the floor.
  4. 4Brace your stomach so your lower back does not arch as the band gets tighter.
  5. 5Pause at the top, then straighten your legs slowly against the band's pull.
